The Snow Woman

“The tale of Yuki-onna.”

A snowstorm in the mountains drives two sculptors into a lodge for the night, and the cold that comes in with them is not only weather. Yukionna (Shiho Fujimura) appears and takes the life of one of the men, then spares Yosaku (Akira Ishihama) on one condition: he must never tell anyone what he saw. Tokuzō Tanaka, adapting Lafcadio Hearn's story, follows what is left between the spirit and the man she let go.
