The Snows of Kilimanjaro

(1952)Directed by Henry King117 minAdventure, Romance, Drama
“His adventures . . . Like his loves . . . Were great and exciting!”

In a safari camp in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro, the writer Harry Street (Gregory Peck) lies on a cot with an infected leg, and the infection is not going away. Henry King takes him back through the women of his past, among them Helen (Susan Hayward) and Cynthia Green (Ava Gardner). With every night of fever, the stories Harry meant to write and never did crowd closer around the cot.
