Le Garçu

Gerard (Gérard Depardieu) is a man with a lot going on, and he finds time for his 4-year-old son and the boy's mother, Sophie (Géraldine Pailhas), only now and then. Maurice Pialat, who became a father himself at 65, cast his own son Antoine as the child. Each visit is short and easily put off, and the boy is growing up in the gaps between them.
