The Son of the Sheik

Ahmed (Rudolph Valentino), the son of the Sheik, keeps slipping out to meet Yasmin (Vilma Banky), a dancing girl who works for her father's band of mountebanks. George Fitzmaurice sets their secret meetings against the heat and the long dark of the desert. When her father's gang takes Ahmed captive for ransom, the film turns on whether first love can be told apart from a trap.
