The Sound and the Fury

“Man is the sum of his misfortunes”

The Compson house in the deep south has a wound no one in it can name aloud. Benjy Compson (James Franco) lives through the family's years in broken pieces, with his sister Caddy (Ahna O'Reilly) at the center of every one. James Franco's film moves between Benjy and his brother Jason (Scott Haze), and it ends on Dilsey (Loretta Devine), the housekeeper who stays on in the house.
