The Space Children

A glowing, brain-like creature arrives on a beach near a rocket test site, carried in by a teleportation beam. Soon the children of the scientists, among them Bud Brewster (Michel Ray) and Tim (John Washbrook), begin hearing it in their heads and doing as it tells them. Jack Arnold's film leaves their parents, Dave (Adam Williams) and Ann (Peggy Webber) among them, scrambling to learn what is happening to their kids before the rocket launch.
