The Spacewalker

“So far from home, so close to disaster”

In March 1965, the Soviet Union and the United States are racing to put the first human outside a spacecraft. Alexey Leonov (Evgeny Mironov), a war veteran, and Pavel Belyaev (Konstantin Khabensky), a hot-headed test pilot, are sent up together in a small capsule that has not been properly tested. Kiselyov keeps the two men close and the stakes unspoken, and the film rests on whether they can trust each other.
