The Spell

“A taunted, overweight teenager with a mysterious power to destroy her enemies!”

Rita (Susan Myers) is a teenage girl who gets laughed at by everyone around her, and then the "accidents" start happening to those who laughed. Her mother Marion (Lee Grant) sees the pattern before anyone else does and sets out to stop her own child. Lee Philips makes the film about a family where love and fear sit in the same house, and neither can be told apart from the other.
