The Split

(1968)Directed by Gordon Flemyng91 min · RAction, Crime
“No wonder they're happy. They just stole a half-million dollars in front of a hundred-thousand witnesses... But watch what happens when it's time for The Split!”

In 1968 Los Angeles, McClain (Jim Brown) assembles a crew of thieves to rob a football stadium on the day of a game. Ernest Borgnine's Bert Clinger, Julie Harris's Gladys and Gene Hackman's Lt. Walter Brill all have a stake once the job is on, and Diahann Carroll plays Ellie Kennedy. Gordon Flemyng, working from Richard Stark's Parker novel, keeps the camera moving through the crew's planning rooms.
