“A galactic odyssey against oppression.”

Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) are flying the Millennium Falcon home to the Wookiee planet, with Imperial ships close behind. Chewbacca's family is waiting for him there, and Life Day, the most important day of the Wookiee year, is almost here. Steve Binder's variety special, first broadcast on CBS in November 1978, puts Luke (Mark Hamill) and Leia (Carrie Fisher) in the rescue, and Chewbacca has one night to get home.
