The Stepfather

“He wanted a perfect family in a perfect town. But they couldn't measure up...Neither could the others...”

A man walks out of a house where his entire family lies dead, takes a new name, and drifts to a new town. Soon he is Jerry Blake (Terry O'Quinn), engaged to a widow named Susan (Shelley Hack) and living with her teenage daughter Stephanie (Jill Schoelen). Joseph Ruben sets the story in tidy suburban rooms, and what he cares about is the family that Jerry insists must be perfect.
