The Stone Tape

Peter Brock (Michael Bryant) runs a research team at an electronics company, and he has moved them into an old Victorian house to develop a new recording medium. When Jill Greeley (Jane Asher) sees a ghost there, Brock decides the apparition is a psychic impression trapped in a stone wall, and sets out to analyse it. Peter Sasdy directs a Christmas ghost story from 1972, and the team's attempt to exorcise what they have found carries a price they have not counted.
