The Stooge

(1951)Directed by Norman Taurog100 min · GComedy, Drama, Romance
“A RIOTOUS MUSICAL RAMPAGE!”

Bill Miller (Dean Martin) is a Broadway performer going nowhere until his handlers tell him to plant a stooge in the audience, someone to take the abuse of his jokes. Norman Taurog casts Ted Rogers (Jerry Lewis) in the seat, and soon the crowd is laughing at him louder than at Bill. Between the two men, a partnership gets harder to keep honest once Ted starts stealing the show.
