The Story of O

“"O" is the mistress of all mistresses.”

In 1970s Paris, a fashion photographer known as O (Corinne Cléry) is taken by her lover René (Udo Kier) to a secluded château, where she agrees to be trained in submission. Just Jaeckin films the rituals slowly and quietly, in soft light, with little said aloud. Over time, her devotion to René becomes tangled with her obedience to Sir Stephen (Anthony Steel), his older friend.
