The Story of Robin Hood and His Merrie Men

Robin Hood (Richard Todd) is a young archer in love with Maid Marian (Joan Rice), and he rides to the King's palace with his father to enter a shooting contest. On the road home, his father is murdered by men loyal to Prince John, and Robin takes to Sherwood Forest to gather a band of outlaws. Ken Annakin shot it in Technicolor, and Marian stays close to the cause, her fate bound up with Robin's own.
