The Strange Love of Martha Ivers

“Fate drew them together… and only murder could part them!”

Martha Ivers (Barbara Stanwyck) runs the Iverstown business she inherited, and her husband Walter O'Neil (Kirk Douglas), the district attorney, runs the courts. Together they hold the city, bound by a secret from their childhood that neither has said aloud in years. Then Sam Masterson (Van Heflin) drifts back into town, and Martha has to decide how much of her marriage she can keep standing.
