The Stranger

“Blood will tear us apart.”

A small town in Canada's North-West, quiet enough that a stranger gets noticed the day he arrives. Martin (Cristo Montt) has come to find his wife Ana (Lorenza Izzo), only to learn she died a couple of years ago, and he decides to end his own life. Guillermo Amoedo builds the film around a hunger that no one in this town can see, and a violence that feeds on it.
