The Student

Valentine Ezquerra (Sophie Marceau) is cramming for the final exams that will make her a teacher, and she has no room in her days for anything else. Then she meets Ned (Vincent Lindon), a jazz musician, and the evenings she had set aside for her notes start going to him. Claude Pinoteau keeps the exams close on the calendar, so every night she spends with Ned costs her a night of study.
