“Are you eating it... or is it eating you?”

A white dessert is selling faster than anyone can make it, and the ice cream companies are starting to panic. Amalgamated Dairies sends David "Mo" Rutherford (Michael Moriarty), a former FBI man turned industrial saboteur, to find out what's in it, while Larry Cohen sets him loose across a country already lining up to buy it. Mo has the recipe to find, and everywhere he looks, people are happily eating.
