The Stupids

“As American as apple pie and twice as smart.”

In 1996, on an ordinary suburban street, Stanley Stupid (Tom Arnold) and his wife Joan (Jessica Lundy) raise their kids Buster (Bug Hall) and Petunia (Alex McKenna) in a house where nobody has ever once been right. When the garbage disappears and the "return to sender" letters keep coming back, Stanley decides a villain named Sender is behind it. John Landis plays their total confidence straight, and the film treats their wrong answers as the only logic they need.
