The Substance

“Have you ever dreamt of a better version of yourself?”

Elisabeth (Demi Moore), a former movie star with an aerobics show on television, is fired by her producer Harvey (Dennis Quaid) the day she turns fifty. Desperate, she injects a black market drug that produces a younger, better version of herself, Sue (Margaret Qualley). Coralie Fargeat keeps the two women bound by one rule, and each is only ever one body away from the other.
