The Suitor

Pierre (Pierre Étaix) is a gentle, absent-minded young man who would rather stay home with his astronomy. His parents want him married, and he ignores the housemaid in the house to go chasing rich young women instead. Étaix, who also directs, plays him as a long figure in a dark suit, drifting through the rooms of the wealthy with a stiff, polite stare.
