The Sunset Limited

“Nothing is ever black or white.”

White (Tommy Lee Jones), a college professor who keeps to himself, steps toward an oncoming subway train called the Sunset Limited and is pulled back by a stranger. Black (Samuel L. Jackson), an ex-con who is devout and plainspoken, takes the man home and will not let the talk stop. Tommy Lee Jones directs Cormac McCarthy's script as two men argue across a table, each trying to bring the other around.
