The Swarm

“Monsters by the millions - and they're all for real!”

Brad Crane (Michael Caine) is an entomologist who studies bees, and he arrives at a military base after a swarm of killer bees, nearly invisible and carrying deadly venom, begins attacking Americans without reason. Irwin Allen fills the film with big disaster set pieces, including a train crash caused by the swarm itself. Crane works alongside General Slater (Richard Widmark), two men who see the threat differently and have to share the same command.
