The Sweeney

“Act like a criminal to catch a criminal.”

In present-day London, Jack Regan (Ray Winstone) is a Flying Squad detective who bends every rule and is sleeping with the wife of his boss, Frank Haskins (Damian Lewis). A jewellery store robbery ends in a killing, and Regan and his partner George Carter (Plan B) are put on the case. Nick Love sends them through the city's streets at speed, Regan's coat and scowl always a half-step ahead of the paperwork.
