A sorcerer is dead, or so everyone thinks, and the tyrant Cromwell (Richard Lynch) rules a land that has stopped asking where he came from. Talon (Lee Horsley), a mercenary carrying a sword with three blades, is hired by Princess Alana (Kathleen Beller) to help her stop him. Albert Pyun builds the story on an old fear, that a throne held by cruelty will always draw a devil-like sorcerer to it.
