The Tale of Zatoichi

Zatôichi (Shintarō Katsu) is a blind masseur who wanders from town to town gambling for his keep, and few people guess he is also a master swordsman. He walks into a village held by a yakuza boss, where a war with a smaller gang from the neighbouring town is already being prepared. Kenji Misumi sets him among the dice players and the hired swords, the blind man's cane and the sword hidden inside it never far from his hand.
