The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe

François Perrin (Pierre Richard) plays violin in an orchestra and wants nothing more than to be left alone, which is exactly why he makes such a perfect decoy. Colonel Milan (Bernard Blier) of the French secret service picks him out of an airport crowd as a super agent, while Colonel Toulouse (Jean Rochefort) works against him. Yves Robert's film rests on the plain joke that an ordinary man, doing nothing, can be taken for a threat by everyone watching him.
