The Tall Guy

“Scandalous! Shocking! Outrageous! Finally a comedy you can look up to.”

Dexter King (Jeff Goldblum) is an American actor in London who wants a part of his own, and a girlfriend, after years as the straight man to the comedian Ron Anderson (Rowan Atkinson). Mel Smith directs from a script by Richard Curtis, who drew on his own time playing second to Atkinson. Kate (Emma Thompson) is the one person who might make Dexter's luck change, and he cannot afford to lose her or the work.
