The Taming of the Scoundrel
Nobody in the district can say what has made Elia Codogno (Adriano Celentano) so sour, only that this rich farmer is rude to every person he meets, and women get the worst of it. Then he crosses paths by chance with Lisa Silvestri (Ornella Muti), and Castellano and Pipolo, loosely borrowing from Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, set the two of them against each other. Elia is certain he wants nothing from her, and he keeps showing up.
