The Taming of the Shrewd

Kaśka (Magdalena Lamparska), a scientist with a broken heart, drives back to her family's land to start over. Her brother has other plans, and he pays a handsome stranger, Patryk (Mikołaj Roznerski), to talk her into selling it. Anna Wieczur directs it as a plain, sunny comedy, and the family fusses around the house, the yard and the long table together.
