The Tax Collector

“Payback comes with interest.”

David Cuervas (Bobby Soto) wants nothing more than to keep his wife and kids safe, and he pays for that house by collecting money for the gang bosses who run Los Angeles. Each day he and his partner Creeper (Shia LaBeouf) drive the city's streets, making sure people pay up or face retaliation. Then an old threat returns to town and puts everyone he loves in its path. David Ayer shoots the whole thing at street level, close on faces and parked cars.
