The Teacher

Hüsnü (Kemal Sunal) was a well-liked teacher in his small town, so when he gets promoted and posted to Istanbul, it looks like good news. The city is another matter, with its high prices and its pace, and he has trouble finding his footing in either. Kartal Tibet, who also appears in the film as a student's parent, keeps the focus on one man who knew exactly how to do his job at home and now has to learn how to live here.
