The Temp

“She'll eliminate the competition... permanently.”

Peter Derns (Timothy Hutton) is an executive at Mrs. Appleby's Cooke Company, and he is nervous about where his career is headed. Kris Bolin (Lara Flynn Boyle), a temp with a cool, efficient manner, arrives and helps him build a marketing campaign that beats the competition. Tom Holland sets it in an office where two executives die, and the story is about how much of your job security rests on one person you have to trust.
