The Terminator

“Your future is in its hands.”

Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) is an ordinary waitress in Los Angeles when a machine arrives from the future to kill her. Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) explains that her unborn son will lead humanity against an artificial intelligence that has taken over the world. Cameron traps them in a pursuit that collapses the distance between past and future, and by the end Sarah is no longer the woman who woke up that morning.
