The Thaw

“Extinction will find you.”

Dr. David Kruipen (Val Kilmer) is a scientist at a remote Arctic research station, where his daughter Evelyn (Martha MacIsaac) arrives with a group of ecology students to study the melting ice. Under Mark A. Lewis's direction, they find the carcass of a woolly mammoth and bring it indoors, not knowing what is frozen inside it. A prehistoric parasite is loose, and the students must stay quarantined to keep it from reaching the rest of the world.
