“The least likely of heroes in the most unlikely adventure.”

Tack the Cobbler (Matthew Broderick) wants nothing more than to mend shoes quietly in his golden city, but Princess YumYum (Jennifer Beals) falls for him and saves him from the executioner. Then the palace's protective orbs are stolen, and the two set out to find them. Richard Williams fills every frame with ornate, moving patterns, and the cobbler and the princess keep reaching for each other through all of it.
