The Thief Lord

“Magic is just around the corner.”

Prosper (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) is an orphan who runs from a cruel aunt with his younger brother Bo (Jasper Harris), hoping to keep the two of them together. They land in Venice, where a gang of street children takes them in and shelters them in an abandoned cinema, led by a masked boy called the Thief Lord (Rollo Weeks). Richard Claus sets the story among the canals and alleyways, and Prosper has to decide how much he can trust the boy who keeps them fed.
