“It's not human. Yet.”

Paleontologist Kate Lloyd (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) flies to an isolated Antarctic outpost, where an international team has dug a frozen creature out of the ice. Matthijs van Heijningen Jr. sets the film just before Carpenter's 1982 version, with Dr. Sander Halvorson (Ulrich Thomsen) pushing the experiment. By the time the creature gets loose, Kate is watching every face at the station, unable to tell which of them is still themselves.
