The Thousand Eyes of Dr. Mabuse

(1960)Directed by Fritz Lang99 minCrime, Mystery, Thriller
“Dr. Mabuse is on the loose!”

A reporter is murdered while driving to work, and a clairvoyant who saw the killing in a vision comes to the police. Detective Inspector Kras (Gert Fröbe) takes the case, but the same dark force that clouded the clairvoyant's sight keeps the man behind the crime out of view. Fritz Lang sets Kras against Henry B. Travers (Peter van Eyck), a stranger drawn into the investigation, and the two circle each other with a wary, unspoken suspicion.
