The Three Faces of Eve

(1957)Directed by Nunnally Johnson91 min · GDrama
“The strangest true experience a young girl ever had.”

Eve White (Joanne Woodward) is a quiet young wife and mother who wants nothing more than to keep her household together, and she can't account for the headaches or the gaps in her days. Her husband Ralph (David Wayne) sends her to Doctor Curtis Luther (Lee J. Cobb), who starts to see more than one woman in the room. Nunnally Johnson's film is drawn from a real case, and it treats a divided mind as a question of who gets to be called the person.
