The Three Veterans

Three soldiers discharged from the army make camp for a night in the country, and one after another each wakes to find a stranger beside the fire: one of three elvish brothers. By morning Pankrác (Rudolf Hrušínský), Bimbác (Petr Čepek) and Servác (Josef Somr) each own a magic gift: a harp, a pouch of gold, a hat. Oldřich Lipský sends them toward a king's court, where Princess Bosana (Vida Neuwirthová) will become tangled up in all three of their fortunes.
