(1963)Directed by Norman Jewison108 minComedy, Romance
“She's hoping he's ready. He's wishing she's willing.”

Beverly Boyer (Doris Day), a suburban housewife, is suddenly in front of the cameras as the spokeswoman for a soap company, and her ordinary days start filling up with commercials and fame. Her husband Gerald (James Garner) watches the household bend around her new career, with Norman Jewison's Eastmancolor frames keeping the Boyer house bright and busy. The more famous she gets, the more the marriage is what's at stake.
