The Ties That Bind Us

Nobody in this film is quite sure how they ended up in each other's lives. Alex (Pio Marmaï) is a young single father raising six-year-old Elliot (César Botti), while Sandra (Valeria Bruni Tedeschi) is a librarian who has decided she will never be a mother. Carine Tardieu puts the three of them in the same orbit, and a boy who still needs a place to belong is what each of them risks.
