(2017)Directed by Lena Khan96 minComedy, Drama

Sami Malik (Danny Pudi) leaves India for 1970s Chicago, sure that an engineering career will make him worthy of his childhood sweetheart, Ruby (Karen David). The job falls through before it starts, so he lets his new friends, including Babu (Rizwan Manji), help him build a charade to hide it. Lena Khan keeps the film warm and quick while Sami stays one slip from being found out, with Ruby's good opinion of him on the line.
