The Tobacconist of Vallecas

Leandro (José Luis Gómez), an unemployed mason, and his friend Tocho (José Luis Manzano) try to rob a tobacconist's shop in the Vallecas district of Madrid. Doña Justa (Emma Penella) will not stand for it, and her shouting brings the neighbors and then the police. Eloy de la Iglesia keeps the four of them shut in the shop, with the tobacconist's niece Ángeles (Maribel Verdú) and a street outside that will not let any of them leave.
