The Toll

“You gotta pay the troll toll”

All Cami (Jordan Hayes) wants is to get home, so she hails a late-night ride-share and settles into the back seat. Her driver, Spencer (Max Topplin), is a nervous, over-talkative man who follows his own rules, and they soon find themselves alone on a deserted road, hunted by a malevolent presence called the Toll Man. Michael Nader keeps the whole film inside the car and lets the dread build in the narrow space between driver and passenger.
