The Tomb of Ligeia

Lady Rowena Trevanion (Elizabeth Shepherd) meets the widowed Verden Fell (Vincent Price) by chance, and soon she has married him and moved into his dilapidated abbey. Roger Corman, in the last of his Poe pictures, makes her new home feel crowded by the first wife, Ligeia, whose spirit seems to linger. Rowena walks the cold abbey rooms, and the ruined stone keeps its quiet.
