The Tomorrow War

“The fight for tomorrow begins today.”

Dan Forester (Chris Pratt) is a high school teacher and a family man when soldiers from 2051 appear with a message: thirty years from now, humanity is losing a war against an alien species. The future needs bodies, so ordinary civilians are drafted and sent forward, Dan among them. Chris McKay builds the story around a father with a young daughter and an estranged dad, James (J.K. Simmons), and if the war is lost there, nothing is left for her here.
