The Toxic Avenger Unrated

“The hero we need now.”

A janitor named Winston Gooze (Peter Dinklage) is caught in a catastrophic toxic accident and comes out of it transformed into a new kind of hero. Now called Toxie, he has to take on the ruthless corporate overlords and corrupt forces threatening his son, his friends, and his community. Macon Blair, who wrote and directed this remake of the 1984 original, plays the gore and the slapstick at the same speed.
